Itinerary

DAY 1:

Cusco – Pisac – Moray – Maras – Salineras – Ollantaytambo

After being picked up at your hotel at 7:30 a.m., we will take a trip in our transportation until we reach the first stop at the Mirador Taray to see impressive views of the Sacred Valley.

From here we can appreciate the Urubamba River, this place is perfect to take many photos

We will visit the Inca site of Pisac, where we will see impressive views of the valley that surrounds us.

Here we will also be able to see impressive Inca constructions, then we will pay a visit to the Inca site of Pisac, which is known for its colorful local market. Here we can buy souvenirs of all prices, shapes and colors, including textiles with unique designs. In addition, we can taste delicious natural fruits, grown by the residents themselves.

Our trip continues for one more hour to Urubamba where we will enjoy our buffet lunch.

After that we will go to Moray, a unique archaeological site with several large circular terraces. The Inca settlers used these terraces to conduct agricultural experiments and possibly also to study the effects of different climates and soil types on crops.

You will also visit the Salineras de Maras, a collection of more than 3,000 salt pans that cover the mountainside near Maras. The salt pans have been passed down from generation to generation by local families and are still used today.

The last stop will be in Ollantaytambo, where we will explore the Ollantaytambo Fortress, one of the most impressive Inca sites in Peru and a must-see for anyone interested in Inca history and architecture. The fortress was built in the 15th century and served as a military, religious and agricultural center for the Incas. The site features huge stone terraces, intricate stonework and stunning views of the surrounding valley.

Ollantaytambo is a charming town known for its narrow streets, traditional architecture and beautiful gardens. Visitors can explore the city’s cobblestone streets, visit local boutiques and cafes, and learn more about the city’s rich history and culture. Finally return to Cusco; Arrive at your hotel around 6:00 p.m.
